Instruction external companies

If you have any questions or need help, please contact your contact person or reception (+41 31 720 10 00). We have a team of trained first aiders to assist you. The locations of the first aid material can be seen on the information boards of the CTA.

The regulations on workplace safety must be complied with at all times. The contractor is responsible for the personal protective equipment and its correct use.

Only tested and approved ladders and working platforms may be used. The regulations of the Construction Work Ordinance must be complied with.

Work on electrical installations may only be carried out by appropriately trained specialist personnel.

If soldering or welding work is carried out, the contact person must be notified and all necessary fire protection measures must be taken.

Equipment brought along must be state of the art and operated in accordance with the regulations. The use of CTA equipment is only permitted after prior instruction and is at the user's own risk.

In principle, waste must be disposed of daily by the external company itself. In consultation with the contact person, the waste can also be disposed of in the CTA.

Photographing and filming on the CTA premises is only permitted with the express permission of the contact person.

Your contact person is there for you during the visit. The instructions of this person must be followed.

Staying is only permitted in the areas / premises in which the assigned work is to be carried out.

Accidents or damage to property must be reported immediately to the contact person or reception.

In the event of a breach of the statutory safety regulations or the instructions of CTA, CTA shall be entitled to expel the offending persons from the premises. The external company shall be liable for all damages and costs resulting from non-compliance with CTA's instructions.

Escape routes, emergency exits, emergency and fire extinguishing facilities must be kept clear at all times. Should the building be evacuated during your stay, please go to the assembly point as quickly as possible and follow the instructions of those responsible.
