Peter Waldburger succeeds Roland Obrecht

Peter Waldburger will take over the Residential Heat Pumps Division on 1 March 2025 from Roland Obrecht, who has left CTA after 17 years and is focusing on new challenges. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Roland Obrecht at this point for his dedication and the valuable contributions he has made to CTA.

Broad expertise and in-depth market knowledge

Peter Waldburger has extensive industry expertise in multiple different roles: his previous position was as the Head of Product Management/Marketing and a member of the executive management at Viessmann (Schweiz) GmbH, and before that he was responsible for busi-ness development at Stiebel Eltron. He trained as a sanitary fitter and an electrician and has extensive knowledge of product management, marketing, finance, logistics and business de-velopment. The 57-year-old has solid experience in management and shows a flair for prod-ucts and digitisation.

Further expanding our positioning

In his new role as Head of Residential Heat Pumps Division for single-family homes and apartment buildings and a member of the executive management, Peter Waldburger will devote himself to further consolidating CTA’s position as the leading developer and manufacturer of Swiss heat pumps.
