CTA plans to expand its heat pump production
The Swiss family business CTA Ltd. is planning an extension at its headquarters in Münsingen BE. The SME with over 200 employees needs more space for its heat pump production and thus continues to support Switzerland as a workplace and the energy transition.
Due to its long-term growth strategy, the Swiss quality plant needs more space for the production of its heat pumps and chillers, for warehouses, office space and for a modern training centre. The floor space will be expanded by about 5000 m² to a total of 13'000 m². An ecologically progressive building with state-of-the-art building technology for heating, cooling and solar power generation will be constructed on the existing land reserves. Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023.
