Inverter technology explained

Inverter technology enables a heat pump to continuously adjust its output to the home’s actual heating requirements, rather than constantly switching on and off. As a result, the system operates more efficiently, uses less electricity and maintains a more consistent room temperature.

Heat on demand instead of on/off

Inverter technology ensures that the heat pump continuously adjusts its output, thereby providing exactly the amount of heat your home needs at any given moment. Whereas the compressor in on/off systems either runs at full capacity or stops completely, with inverter technology it can continuously regulate its speed.

Sensors continuously monitor various parameters such as the outside temperature, flow temperature and room temperature. The control system uses this data to calculate the current heat demand and automatically adjusts the output. As a result, your system operates most of the time in what is known as the partial-load range – the range in which it operates most efficiently.
