Stefan Oswald will take over as the new CEO on 1 January 2025. The 52-year-old has extensive experience in the HVAC industry. As a trained heating engineering draughtsman and a qualified HVAC engineer, he has gained experience in various roles in the building technology and refrigeration industries. Alongside continuously enhancing his specialist knowledge and expertise, he was instrumental in the positive development of the business units he managed, helped in particular by his cooperative and motivating leadership style, his strategic foresight and his results-orientated approach.
"With my extensive experience in the field of HVAC and my connection to the Münsingen region, I am looking forward to the new challenge."
Marco Andreoli joined his father Gregor Andreoli’s company in 1989. After starting out in customer service, he built the company’s heat pump division from the ground up in the early 1990s – often in the face of significant societal and political opposition. CTA had been distributing heat pumps since 1985, but in 1992, it developed and manufactured its first 'CTAexklusiv' industrial heat pumps. This was followed in 1995 by the launch of the company’s first standard domestic heat pump, developed and manufactured entirely in-house. CTA thereby became the first manufacturer to use the new scroll technology. In 2005, Marco Andreoli took over the management of the company from his father and CTA’s founder, Gregor Andreoli. Along with ongoing product development and continuous improvements to customer service, the defining accomplishments under his leadership have included the introduction of the 12-year CTAplus warranty and winning the Swiss Venture Club (SVC) business award for the Espace Mittelland region. Above all, Marco Andreoli has left a lasting impression with his appreciative and empathetic manner, which remains an important part of the company’s culture.
